Quantum Leap Cast

5th October 1957 – 22nd November 1963 (and 14th February 1999): Sam leaps into a man named ‘Alik’, just as his Russian girlfriend, Marina, photographs him holding a rifle. After uncharacteristically speaking Russian and exhibiting a violent temper, Sam leaps once more, only to arrive in the same man’s body, this time on a U.S. Marine rifle range in Japan. Then Al appears and gives his friend the shocking news: Sam has leaped into the body of Lee Harvey Oswald, the man believed to be responsible for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. While Sam considers the possibility that his mission is to change history and prevent the President’s death, Al sees an opportunity to uncover the truth behind the myriad conspiracy theories that surround the assassination. However, the accused killer's personality quickly begins to assert itself again, causing Sam to exhibit volatile emotions and increasingly violent behaviour. Meanwhile, in the future of 1999, in the project Quantum Leap Waiting Room in Stallions Gate, New Mexico, Al desperately tries to question Oswald, but the man doggedly refuses to cooperate – even when Sam’s personality begins to affect him in turn. As Sam continues to lose control of his mind, he finds himself leaping again and again into key moments in Oswald’s life – and heading on a collision course for that fateful day in Dallas, Texas in 1963…
